Marigold Montessori
Student Art Show 2020

The artwork in this virtual exhibition showcases the students of the Marigold Montessori School, ages 3-6, and the artwork they created throughout Creative Haverhill’s satellite in-school arts program. Throughout the fall and winter we explored color, texture, a wide range of materials, different artists, and so much more! Projects included color theory and color mixing, watercolor leaf rubbings and pastel leaf shadows, tape snowflakes, making their very own “dots”, tissue paper collages, Kente Cloth stamp designs, yarn painting, and block and wire sculptures. We also did projects inspired by artists Henri Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe, Wassily Kandinsky, Vincent Van Gogh, Yayoi Kusama, Alma Thomas, Samella Lewis, Rembrandt, Hokusai, Claude Monet, and Jackson Pollock. We hope you enjoy the beautiful artwork created by these students!

This partnership program was made possible by the Haverhill Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council.
